Caribbean Culture Fund Hosts Virtual Meet and Greet with Grantees on December 10, 2024

Port-au-Prince, Haiti, November 28, 2024 – The Caribbean Culture Fund (CCF) invites members of the media and arts and culture bloggers to a virtual meet-and-greet session with its inaugural grantees.

Meet the sixteen individual creatives and cultural organizations behind the diverse arts and culture projects that were funded by the CCF in its first round of grants in 2024. The inaugural awards, totaling USD 250,000, are supporting projects from Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti.

The session takes place on Tuesday December 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM EST via Zoom. This exciting event follows the ongoing work by the winners over the past few months.

The funded projects span multiple disciplines, including visual arts, performing arts, culinary arts, literature, and film, and reflect the themes of ‘Social Change and Civic Engagement’ and ‘Caribbean Collaboration’. Details on the projects are included below.

The virtual meet-and-greet will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear from grantees about their projects, network with creatives, and explore opportunities for collaboration across the region.  Details will also be shared on the upcoming awards for media coverage of arts and culture, sponsored by the Caribbean Culture Fund in collaboration with the Caribbean Broadcasting Union.

The CCF remains committed to empowering Caribbean creatives through funding and capacity-building initiatives. Join us as we celebrate the region’s rich cultural tapestry and support the work of our grantees.
